Thank You for Shopping presents the stories behind Minnesota's great department stores, exploring the experiences of shoppers and employees alike across 224 pages of vintage photos, ephemera, and firsthand accounts.

Design of the title and end sheets was inspired by vintage script-y store logos and patterned department store boxes.

The book’s interior design leans on contemporary typography, flexible grids and a handful of sidebar styles to make it both browsable and readable. Its spot-gloss cover looked great in store displays, and the book had the gift-giving appeal we were after.
